Volunteer Screening

Volunteers need to complete a criminal background check (fingerprinting) only if they will be:

Frequent (volunteering more than 4 times within 4 weeks)
Indirectly Supervised (not always in the presence of school staff)
Chaperoning overnight, foreign travel, wilderness or outside of school time field trips

If your volunteers need to be background checked (fingerprinted), you should be directing them to do so by the school.
