Joseph C. Briscoe Academy is in need of volunteers to support our monthly food distribution, in partnership with the Maryland Food Bank. The food pantry will take place out of our school building at 900 Druid Hill Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21201. Volunteer commitment is 2-3 hours one day per month (dates TBA). Responsibilities include unboxing packages of food items from the Maryland Food Bank, sorting through items and assuring food quality, packing grocery bags, and distributing bags to students, families, and community members. Volunteer background checks and COVID-19 safety requirements must be fulfilled per Baltimore City Public Schools regulations.
