I am an author and mental health advocate, with a book/journal entitled You Are Not Alone. This tool encourages journaling as a way to express thoughts and emotions. The goal is to promote positive expression and mental wellness within our young population. Having an outlet to express the emotions and feelings can lower the number of fights, minimize bullying, anxiety and depression. I have my B.A. in psychology from the University of Baltimore and am currently obtaining my Masters in Counseling Psychology. I have also interned in the youth adult unit at Sheppard Pratt. I believe that my book can help to develop positive mental health and help them feel as if they are not alone.
