Chess and life skills program. November thru May 31, 2 days per week. Students learn the game of chess as well as cultural history of the game. Chess teaches critical and strategic thought students will learn sportsmanship discipline and making good decisions. Students will also learn and get the understanding that decisions may have consequences if not thought through thoroughly. Students will also learn pattern recognition, spatial reasoning, making good decision and planning ahead. Students will be given free access to online chess program where they may play against other students, as well as access to Saturday virtual lessons.
All experienced coaching, material, and tournament fees if applicable.
